repertoire
The repertoire includes classical music, light music, pop, Italian music, film soundtracks and opera arias. For religious or civil ceremonies, the ensemble can perform traditional pieces for violin and organ, ceremonial melodies, moving instrumental pieces and arrangements suitable for the entrance, the exchange of vows, the signing of the register and the exit.
For aperitifs, receptions and more informal settings, the repertoire can include modern pieces, well-known film soundtracks, ambient music, pop and lighter selections, including performances with an electric violin and backing tracks. Specific requests should be agreed in advance, so that we can assess the key, arrangement, duration of the piece and the feasibility of incorporating them into a coherent set list.
Experience and Features
Simona Bettoni is a violinist based in Tavernola Bergamasca, in the province of Bergamo. Having graduated with a diploma in violin in 2000, she has performed with various orchestras, taught music and developed a programme aimed primarily at weddings, civil and religious ceremonies, receptions and private events.
The service is designed to provide sophisticated musical accompaniment for the most important moments of the day: the entrance, the ceremony, the signing of the register, the exit, the aperitif, dinner, the reception or special moments with the guests. The stage presence can be classical or more modern, even featuring a light-up electric violin and a dramatic bow, when the setting calls for a more striking visual impact.
Simona performs as a soloist and can combine the violin with the organ, keyboard, harp, cello, other instruments or a female voice, including soprano, lyrical pop or modern styles. Her approach is consultative: the programme is put together with the bride and groom or the event organiser to ensure it suits the style, venue, ceremony and atmosphere of the event.
Equipment and logistics
Equipment and assembly times
The package may include a classical violin, a light-up electric violin, a light-up bow, backing tracks and a professional sound system for playing the accompaniments. Where the event requires it, the violin may be accompanied by an organ or keyboard, a harp, a cello, other instruments or a female vocalist.
To organise the service properly, we need the date, venue, times, the type of ceremony or event, any musical pieces you’d like, the name of the celebrant or venue contact (if applicable), a provisional running order, requested tracks, access to power, space for the musician and sound system, details of whether the event is outdoors or indoors, any need to move between the ceremony and reception, and the venue’s noise restrictions.
Accessibility and parking
Before the event, the following must be checked: access points for loading and unloading; nearby technical parking; the distance between the car park and the performance area; the presence of stairs or lifts; a nearby power supply if a sound system or power bases are required; a covered area for the musician and their instruments; protection from the sun, wind or rain if the event is outdoors, adequate lighting, any necessary venue permits, and an on-site operations manager.
Other logistical requirements
Based in Tavernola Bergamasca, with availability in the provinces of Bergamo and Brescia. The quote is to be determined based on distance, duration, number of musical performances, chosen line-up, use of an electric violin or backing tracks, technical requirements, waiting times between performances, access to the venue and conditions in the event of an outdoor performance.
This solution is particularly well-suited to weddings, civil or religious ceremonies, private functions, receptions, dinners, corporate events and any occasion where an elegant yet flexible musical accompaniment is required. For events with multiple performance areas or extended durations, it is advisable to agree in advance on breaks, changes of venue and set-up times.
