My Sicily Wedding is a wedding planning and design company based in Palermo, which has been organising weddings in Sicily since 2015. Its approach combines creative vision, meticulous organisation and a focus on showcasing the Sicilian experience, with bespoke plans for couples who choose the island as their destination.

The planning process begins by listening to the couple and defining the concept: style, atmosphere, venue, guests, budget, priorities and wishes are all incorporated into a cohesive plan. The team’s leadership covers both aesthetic and operational aspects, with attention to detail, supplier management and an organisational presence at key moments.

This package is particularly well-suited to destination weddings, intimate celebrations, elopements, wedding weekends and projects requiring expert local coordination in Sicily.

The service is not tied to a fixed set of technical resources, but rather to an organisational framework: planning, timelines, mood boards, budgets, the selection and coordination of suppliers, site visits, briefings, guest management, transport logistics, accommodation and operational coordination on the day of the event.

When a project requires set design, music, lighting, video, make-up, transport or hospitality, the team coordinates the necessary suppliers and aligns timings, access arrangements, venue constraints and operational responsibilities.

The final package depends on the complexity of the wedding, the number of venues, the duration of the celebrations, the number of guests, any additional services, and whether our presence is required on the days before or after the event.

Accessibility and parking

For on-site coordination, it is advisable to arrange for early access to the venues, contact details for the technical and venue managers, parking or loading/unloading bays for suppliers, floor plans, guidelines on set-up, music, fireworks, lighting and technical equipment, as well as a contingency plan in case of bad weather for outdoor ceremonies or receptions.

During site visits and inspections, it is advisable to check guest routes, access for people with reduced mobility, backstage areas, preparation areas, power supply, time restrictions and any authorisations required by the venue.

Other logistical requirements

Based in Palermo, we are available for weddings and celebrations across Sicily. Feasibility must be assessed based on the date, location, number of guests, type of ceremony, budget, venue, whether the event spans several days, transport, accommodation and additional services.

To get a project off the ground, you’ll need the date or timeframe, your preferred location, an approximate number of guests, the desired style, the type of support required, any venues you’ve already considered, suppliers you’ve already booked, and the couple’s priorities.

For destination weddings and events with guests from abroad, it is useful to plan in advance: transport, accommodation, the timing of service providers, the welcome reception, any brunch or additional activities, and a decision-maker to liaise with.
