Experience and Features

Event DJ was founded by Alessandro Fabris, also known as DJ Slam, who has been a professional DJ since 1992 and is the creator of a service designed for private events, weddings, civil partnerships, birthdays, 18th birthday parties and corporate events.

The service combines DJ sets, music consultancy, hosting, coordination of key moments and direct management of the entertainment. The aim is to create seamless, modern and engaging parties, avoiding any lulls and tailoring the atmosphere, energy and music to the audience present.

For weddings, the package takes the form of a Wedding Show: a pre-dinner drink, arrival at the venue, buffet, first dance, dinner, cutting of the cake and the closing party are all accompanied by a bespoke musical programme. Where the event calls for it, the DJ set can be complemented by a saxophonist, violinist, singer, percussionist and other performers.

The same approach is adapted for birthdays, 18th birthday parties, private celebrations and corporate events, with an elegant or more dynamic style depending on the context, the venue and the type of guests.

Equipment and logistics

Equipment and assembly times

Event DJ uses professional sound and lighting equipment, top-of-the-range systems, LED lights, a smoke machine and set-ups tailored to the venue.

The service may include sound systems in several areas, audiovisual support, DJ sets, microphones, music direction and live performances featuring saxophone, violin, vocals or other performers.

Each set-up is tailored to the venue, the number of guests and the type of event, with equal attention paid to both the sound quality and the visual impact.

Accessibility and parking

Technical access, power supply, spaces for sound and lighting, and loading and unloading must be agreed with the venue during the planning stage.

Other logistical requirements

The preparations for the event are planned in advance, setting out the programme, musical interludes, entrances, the first dance, any speeches, additional performers and the technical layout of the stations.

For weddings, the wedding coordinator can oversee every stage of the reception, working alongside the venue and the professionals involved to ensure that the pace, timing and atmosphere remain consistent.
