repertoire
The programme alternates between DJ sets and live saxophone performances, with the music selected to suit the audience and the type of event.
The selection ranges from ambient, lounge and aperitif music to pop, light music, disco, dance, 90s revival, recent hits, ballroom dancing, piano bar and karaoke. Where required, tracks can be reworked with remixes and bespoke arrangements.
The saxophone can be used to evoke emotion during the most elegant moments, as a live performance during the party, or to add a musical touch to the DJ set.
Experience and Features
Saxophonefactor brings a mix of DJ sets, live saxophone, karaoke, vocals and entertainment to every event. The project was set up to create bespoke parties, with carefully curated musical direction and a constant focus on the flow of the evening.
Gerardo Mautone has a solid musical background, specialising in classical and contemporary saxophone. He plays the soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, as well as the digital saxophone, enabling him to adapt the tone, energy and atmosphere to suit the occasion.
The show works equally well in elegant settings and at more lively celebrations: weddings, birthdays, 18th birthday parties, First Communions, corporate events, private parties, town squares, venues and entertainment events where music, stage presence and the ability to engage the audience are required.
The philosophy behind the project is to organise every detail in advance of the event: the timetable, music, special moments, karaoke, speeches, entertainment and the most emotional moments are all planned in consultation with the client to avoid any lulls and ensure the party flows smoothly.
Equipment and logistics
Equipment and assembly times
The technical set-up is designed to cater for events of various sizes, featuring a powerful sound system, high-efficiency speakers, a mixing desk, microphones, sound cards, lighting and a screen for karaoke.
The set-up is tailored to the venue and the programme: DJ sets, live saxophone, karaoke, singing and entertainment can be organised in a single area or adapted to suit the available space.
Accessibility and parking
Arrangements regarding loading, unloading, parking, electricity and technical access must be agreed with the venue prior to the event.
Other logistical requirements
Set-up is planned in advance in consultation with the venue. For simple set-ups, around an hour may be sufficient, whilst for more complex events it is advisable to allow up to three hours, so that sound, lighting, microphones, karaoke and technical rehearsals can be sorted out without any pressure.
Timings, duration, location, technical access, power supply, space requirements for the equipment and arrangements for any special events must be agreed upon before the event.
