Music genres
repertoire
The repertoire draws on 1930s swing, jazz standards and the great classics of the American Songbook, with references to Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong.
The set list may also include international pop, Italian music, bossa nova, Neapolitan classics and dance tracks from the 1970s to the 1990s, right up to contemporary hits reworked in the band’s own style.
Experience and Features
Brand New Swing is a Neapolitan band specialising in weddings, ceremonies, private events, live concerts and collaborations within the wedding industry.
The project centres on swing and jazz standards, but broadens its repertoire to include international pop, Italian songs, bossa nova, Neapolitan classics and dance tracks reinterpreted with a vintage feel. The line-up can be tailored to suit the occasion, ranging from elegant background music to the most lively party atmosphere.
This package is ideal for aperitifs, receptions, cake-cutting ceremonies and closing-night events: professional musicians, a carefully curated atmosphere and the opportunity to create a variety of musical moments without compromising on stylistic consistency.
Equipment and logistics
Equipment and assembly times
The band performs with varying line-ups, ranging from a duo to larger ensembles, and may include vocals, wind instruments, guitar, bass, drums, piano or other combinations depending on the nature of the event. The technical set-up and sound system are tailored to the venue, the number of musicians and the planned programme.
Accessibility and parking
Sufficient space for musicians and instruments, electricity, access for loading and unloading, and set-up times compatible with the venue are required.
Other logistical requirements
The line-up, timetable, set lengths, technical access and any changes to the set-up must be agreed upon before the event. For weddings and ceremonies, it is useful to organise the entrance, pre-dinner drinks, reception, cake-cutting and closing party into a single, coherent programme.
