Musical training
repertoire
The repertoire includes Italian songs from the 1960s to the present day, international music, standards, Latin music, film soundtracks, classical music, ballroom music, pop, revival, disco and dance music.
For the ceremony, you can choose from classical, modern or symbolic pieces, featuring violin and piano/keyboards. For the pre-dinner drinks and reception, the programme can alternate between instrumental music, vocals, pop arrangements, and Italian and international repertoire. For the party, the duo can incorporate more energetic sets featuring keyboards, backing tracks, electric violin, vocals and a DJ set.
Specific requests are agreed upon before the event, so as to put together a programme that is in keeping with the ceremony, venue, timetable and desired atmosphere.
Experience and Features
The Alessandra & Alessandro duo provide live music for weddings, ceremonies, receptions and private events, with a tight-knit and versatile line-up centred around violin, piano, keyboards and vocals.
The project brings together Alessandra Fenech on the violin and Alessandro Troja on the piano, keyboards and vocals. Their style is well-suited to the elegant moments of the ceremony, to providing accompaniment during the aperitif and dinner, and to the liveliest part of the reception, where the set can also incorporate dance music and DJ sets.
The strength of the duo lies in their ability to adapt their repertoire to the different stages of the event: emotive pieces for entrances and symbolic moments, light and international music for the reception, and more upbeat selections for the party. The small ensemble allows for flexible use of space whilst maintaining a distinctive and polished musical presence.
Equipment and logistics
Equipment and assembly times
The ensemble has all the necessary equipment and sound systems for both indoor and outdoor performances, including a classical and an electric violin, a digital piano, an arranger keyboard, microphones, wireless microphones and coloured lights.
For the time being, depending on the space available and the venue’s regulations, the DJ or dance area may include a mixing desk, lighting, moving heads and a smoke machine. The set-up must be finalised in advance, taking into account the music point, power supply, any changes of location between the ceremony and the reception, set-up times and volume limits.
The preparation time is standard and limited, but it is worth ensuring there is convenient access for unloading equipment, a stable area for keyboards and sound equipment, and a venue coordinator or wedding planner to coordinate arrivals, the ceremony and special moments.
Accessibility and parking
To be agreed with the venue: access for loading and unloading instruments, staff parking near the performance area where possible, adequate power supply, a covered area for outdoor performances, a permanent space for keyboards, violin and sound system, time slots for set-up and soundcheck, and any volume restrictions or performance times.
Other logistical requirements
Based in Palermo, available for events and engagements throughout Sicily. This package is ideal for weddings, religious ceremonies, civil ceremonies, receptions, private parties and any occasion requiring live music, violin, piano/keyboards and a more dynamic finale.
The quote depends on the duration of the event, the number of stations, the distance, the times, any DJ sets, lighting, requests for a personalised set list and the technical complexity. Any extras, travel costs and additional hours must be agreed upon before confirmation.
