Music genres
repertoire
The repertoire includes modern ceremonial pieces, Italian and international songs, pop, soul, jazz, swing, gospel, acoustic interludes and reception music. For the ceremony, we offer packages featuring organ or piano, modern vocals, soprano, tenor, violin, trumpet or cello; for the reception, we offer lighter live sets, duos, trios and musical performances tailored for the pre-dinner drinks, dinner, cake-cutting and the party.
Experience and Features
Sonia Voice & Team offers live music and musical entertainment for weddings, private parties and events, with a flexible line-up centred around vocals, piano and carefully selected musicians. The line-up is not a fixed duo: it can start with a vocalist and accompaniment, expand to a duo with piano, saxophone or guitar, or grow into a trio or small ensemble to provide music for the ceremony, pre-dinner drinks, reception and festive moments. The format is designed to ensure a seamless flow throughout the day, alternating between elegance, subtle engagement, agreed-upon repertoires and practical coordination with the bride and groom, wedding planners and the venue. Sonia’s role also involves overseeing the musical selection and striking a balance between live music, subtle entertainment and any DJ sets, whilst maintaining a professional tone appropriate to the occasion.
Equipment and logistics
Equipment and assembly times
Ensembles may include vocals, piano or organ, saxophone, guitar with a loop station, violin and other musicians, depending on the programme. For the ceremony and for live music, the use of professional sound equipment, microphones, speakers and an electronic piano is recommended when it is necessary to alternate between organ and piano sounds.
Accessibility and parking
To ensure everything runs smoothly, it is helpful to have access points for loading and unloading, a power supply point near the performance area, a permanent space for musicians and their instruments, information on noise limits, and a venue representative on hand during set-up, soundcheck and dismantling.
Other logistical requirements
Operating from Lainate, in the Milan area, with services provided in Milan and various provinces of Lombardy. The set-up must be finalised according to the ceremony, reception, timings, available space, the facilities on site, any changes of venue and the set-up times agreed with the venue.
