Experience and Features
Claudio and Diana have been partners in art and in life for over thirty years and perform the ‘Posteggia Napoletana’ at receptions, ceremonies, serenades, private parties and formal events. Their repertoire draws on classic Neapolitan songs and combines a female vocalist, guitar, mandolin and violin with an elegant stage presence, striking a balance that is understated for formal occasions yet engaging during celebrations.
The project has included tours in Italy and abroad, television and radio appearances, collaborations with leading musicians, and awards linked to Neapolitan culture. Claudio and Diana are recognised as Ambassadors of the Neapolitan Posteggia around the world and tailor each performance to the context of the event, from serenades to rituals, and from welcoming guests to the reception itself.
Equipment and logistics
Equipment and assembly times
The core line-up consists of a duo featuring a female vocalist and guitar, and can be expanded to a trio with the addition of a mandolin, violin or tambourine. For more elaborate events, larger line-ups are available, including a quartet, quintet and additional instruments such as the saxophone, harp or accordion. The acoustic set-up encourages movement amongst the guests; where the setting requires it, the performance can be supported by a sound system and a fixed stage.
Other logistical requirements
Based in Salerno, available for events throughout Italy and abroad. Travel arrangements, duration and line-up are determined according to the venue, the musical style required and the number of musicians involved.
